Lauren Rampello Becotte, Pure Glow’s Founder and CEO, immersed herself in the sunless tanning industry for the past 15 years. The total investment will range from $435,200 to $711,350. Specific details of these costs are listed within our Franchise Disclosure Document (“FDD”).
Pure Glow cannot guarantee your success, however we do offer a proven concept and an excellent franchise support system. Income from each Pure Glow location varies based on many variables, including market size, demographics and franchisees ability to manage the day to day operations and finances of their individual locations. Our FDD does provide our financial performance for our two Boston locations in 2023.
The franchise fee is $42,500 per studio.
Seven percent (7%) of your sales.
An additional one percent (1%) fee is collected to specifically build the Pure Glow brand nationally.
Ten years, with two five year renewal options.
The traditional studio size is approximately 800-1,200 square feet.
On average, it will take about 8-12 months depending on how quickly you identify the right location.
Yes, but franchisees are limited to purchasing up to five (5) locations. Unless you have multi-unit management experience, we strongly recommend that you work within the studio for your first opening to understand how the business operates.
A typical Pure Glow studio will operate with 6-8 employees. Most of those employees will be part-time.
Unless you are a current multi-unit franchisee in the beauty industry, we firmly believe that our franchise partners should work within the studio for at least the first six months to thoroughly understand the operations and client needs of your local community. After six months, it is our expectation that you will be able to build and manage a team so that you can step outside the studio to drive local store marketing and create brand awareness within your community.
We require a liquid capital minimum of $150,000 and net worth of $400,000.
